Da Vinci’s Treasure Slots

Leonardo da Vinci, who lived from 1452-1519, is one of the most-accomplished people of all time. He was an expert in numerous fields, including painting, sculpting, anatomy, astronomy, history, writing, cartography, architecture, science, and more.

He's well known for creating some extremely famous works of art, such as the Mona Lisa, The Last Supper, The Vitruvian Man, and Lady with an Ermine.

Given all of his accomplishments and notable artwork, many things that Da Vinci created are considered highly valuable today. That said, we wouldn't be surprised if there are a few lost Da Vinci treasures hidden away somewhere.

Such is the idea behind Da Vinci's Treasure slots, which sees you help an adventurer find these hidden gems. Keep reading to see out if this 5-reel, 25-payline game lives up to the legend himself.

Help John Hunter Find the Lost Treasures of Da Vinci

Da Vinci's Treasure opens with a title screen that features an adventure named John Hunter. You'll also see a nondescript Italian city behind Hunter.

Once the game officially begins, the background changes to an old map of Italy. You'll hear dramatic music playing, which sets the tone for an Indiana Jones-style adventure.

Symbols include John Hunter, a book, backpack, ancient device, crossbow, royals (A-10), Leonardo Da Vinci (wild), and a bonus icon. Da Vinci, who appears on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5, substitutes for everything except the bonus symbol to form wins.

Enjoy 3 Different Bonuses

The bonus symbol, which only appears only reels 2, 3, and 4, triggers a random bonus round whenever it lands three or more times. The three available options include a map quest, progressive multiplier free spins, and prize picker.

In map quest, you'll see a map marked by 23 spaces. You spin a wheel to determine if you move 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 spaces. This wheel also features an END slice that halts the bonus round. The goal is to keep collecting prizes and make it though the entire map without hitting END.

Progressive multiplier free spins award you 12 spins, with a starting 1x multiplier. The multiplier increases by 1x after every spin. Landing three or more bonus icons during the free spins awards an additional 12 free games.

In the prize picker bonus round, you select 1 out of 3 items to reveal an award. This game ends as soon as you make your pick.

Gamble Your Bonus Win

You have the option to gamble your bonus payout by 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x. You can also simply forego the gamble option and collect your money (our favorite option).

Assuming you do gamble, then your chances of winning vary by how much you're trying to win. For example, selecting the 2x gamble means that you have to pick one of two correct objects to win. But if you select the 5x gamble, you'll have to correctly choose four out of five objects.

Betting Options

This slot features 25 fixed paylines. But you do have the option to change your coin size from $0.01 to $0.50 and coins per line from 1-10. This creates a minimum bet of $0.25 per spin and a max of $125.00.

Other options include autoplay, quickspin, and a sound bar. Autoplay lets you keep the reels spinning automatically for anywhere from 10-100 turns. Quickspin makes the reels go faster. The sidebar gives you absolute control over how the music and animations play.

Da Vinci's Treasure RTP & Volatility

Da Vinci's Treasure features 96.53% RTP, which is better than most online slots. The volatility rating for this game is 5 out of 5 lightning bolts, which as high as it gets for a Pragmatic Play slot. This means that you'll earn lots of big wins, but also experience long dry spells.

Da Vinci's Treasure is the Slots Equivalent of the Mona Lisa

We don't often gush over slots. But Da Vinci's Treasure is as good as any game based on the legendary inventor and artist.

This slot checks off all the boxes of a quality game, including good graphics, sound effects, RTP, and three different bonus rounds. The latter is our favorite part of this game, because you can get anything from free spins to a second screen bonus.

Da Vinci's Treasure is worth checking out even if you could care less about Leonardo Da Vinci. In fact, this is one of the best slots that we've reviewed in a while.
